All I can say about Majestic Pure Cosmeceuticals' Micellar Water Makeup Remover is WOW! I've have seriously tried so many different makeup removers in so many different forms, and this honestly blows every one of them out of the water. It comes in a clear 8 oz bottle with a cap on it. You also get a pump that you can add instead of the cap. The liquid is clear and supposedly smells of lavender. Here is probably my biggest complaint about the makeup remover. It does NOT smell of lavender. I LOVE the lavender smell and was really excited about it. It smells a little bit…I won't say gross, it's just an unpleasant smell. This, however, does not carry over once it's on your skin. It's not strong, and unless you plan on just sticking your nose n the bottle and keeping it there, do not let it change your mind!
I first started using it with the pump on it, but didn't toss the cap. I'm really really glad I didn't. The pump is probably the second (and last) short coming. The pump is bad. The water is too thin for it to really be effective in pump form. I also find I lose a lot of water when the pump is moved or if the bottle is shaken. It just flies out of the pump. The good news is, there's a super easy fix! Just put the cap back on and use a cotton ball over the opening instead. Lose the pump and you're all set!
Now for the amazingness that is this product! I cannot even tell you the "omg I found THE one" feeling I had when I saw how great this makeup remover worked. When I first got this I used it to wipe off the daily makeup I was wearing. It did such a great job! I wasn't blown out of the water because my makeup was super light and not really anything mind blowing. Most makeup removers do a good job with this type. This was REALLY good, but I didn't have high expectations or anything. Since, I've put on super heavy makeup, and this product is a champ! It removes even the heaviest of makeup with ease. I'm so used to scrubbing my eyes raw to try to get off my waterproof mascara, layers of liner and shadow, etc. This stuff is SO different. I held it over my eye for a minute, then wiped gently per the instructions. I wasn't hopeful. I expected to have to go back ten times with so much more pressure. But no! It got almost everything off in the first gentle wipe. I went pack a couple more times to get the pesky corners and such, but nowhere near the effort that I would normally have to! I'm so impressed with this stuff. As a bonus, it also left my skin feeling super smooth.
I would sing my praises of this makeup remover from the top of my lungs. I'm sure there's stuff that's better on the market. But I'm also sure that stuff is so far out of my price range it's not funny. I will absolutely be buying this again, and have already recommended it to several friends. I honestly cannot imagine a better makeup remover for the price. I'd give this twenty stars if I could!
