The Le Beauté Ceramic Flat Iron Hair Straightener is a great item! I have thick, wavy hair that tends to be frizzy when air dried. This straightener did a great job in taming my hair with very little effort! With only a couple of passes, it made my hair very straight and smooth. It really worked great! A huge plus of this is that the cord is fairly long, which I absolutely love. It makes it easier to move around and use in different places. There are two drawbacks. One, that there is not a clamp to hold it closed, which is how I like to store my straighteners. However, I really like this product and it's a fairly minor issue. The bigger one is that the on/off switch and temperature dial is located in between the two arms of the straightener, making it hard to get to. Turning it on isn't a big issue, but you do have to be careful when turning it off or adjusting the dial so you don't burn yourself. As such, I would reccomend anyone younger be supervised with the item, but it is a very nice, affordable item. As for feel, it is light in the hand, but it also doesn't feel solid. It doesn't take away from the function, but it is something to be aware of. It has a bit of a plastic feel, but again, it doesn't take away from how well it works. Another plus is that it comes in a nice sturdy box which will be useful for storage. I do highly recommend this straightener, especially for someone new to straightening their hair.
