The Le Beauté 5 in 1 curling iron set is nothing short of a genius invention! Sure, I have a curling iron. I also have a wand. And I've always wanted so many more sizes of each. The main problem is I just don't have the space for all of that, all of those cords, all of the confusion! This set solves ALL of that. The set includes 3 curling iron attachments in sizes 1.25", 1" and .75" as well as 2 wands: one .75"-1" and the other .3"-.75". It also includes the base part (where you attach the barrels) which has a locking system, on off switch and the cord to plug in. The cord itself is nice and sturdy, and also long—both of which are HUGE positives. The base portion is very easy to hang onto, and the on of switch simple to use. The one feature that I would like to see on the base is a temperature control. This is probably my largest gripe about this as I would like to be able to increase or decrease the temperature for differing ages. That being said, it's not that huge of an issue. You also get a heat resistant glove which is always necessary when using wands. I also like it for using these curling iron attachments as well. I do find the glove doesn't prevent all heat from entering, but as long as you're not clutching the barrel tightly and for a while, you should be ok. I didn't find it to be a problem at all, but I still try to minimize contact with the barrel even when using a glove.

To attach the different ends, you slide the end into the base and twist the "lock" on the base. I found this a bit difficult to twist at times. Yes, that's bad, but upon thought, it's actually a great thing. I want to know that when I lock it, it's going to stay put. You wouldn't want a loose, easy to twist locking mechanism that'll cause the hot attachment to drop and scorch you. This definitely won't!

The barrels themselves heat up super quickly (apparently to 400 degrees, but I wouldn't know exactly!) and also cool down quickly which is a big plus.

As for the attachments themselves, they offer a GREAT versatility. I love the loose curls that the thickest barrel offers, though I don't know how well my thick hair would hold this! My favorite by far are the two wand attachments. I love that the bigger one gives me the right size curls that will be nice and "beachy" by the time I'm ready to go somewhere, but I also love the cute dainty tight curls the smaller version offers.

Overall, this set is a majorly awesome discovery. It comes in a very nice box that would be great for gifting. I can totally see a teenager LOVING this set as she experiments with different hairstyles. It's also a great space saver for college age students or those in small apartments. I'm not going to lie though, this is great for anyone. The box is also fantastic to keep your set together. I plan on keeping it in place as it's sturdy and offers a great view of which barrel is where. It'll also help me keep track of that pesky glove, which I always lose with wands. I'm so thrilled by this set and will absolutely be purchasing more for gifts. Yes, it's more expensive than some curling irons or wands. But there's no way you could find this quality of an item in all five of these for even double this price. I'm so in love with this set I can't even tell you!
