The eight piece Chalktastic Professional Liquid Chalk Markers are a great set of chalk markers! The set includes thick tipped (6MM) markers, with the ability to reverse the tips from rounded to chiseled. This is stated on the box, but I would honestly not have noticed at first as it's one line and doesn't really give any directions on how to do this. (To change the tip, you pull the tip out and simply flip it over.) I love the versatile feature, but it is pretty messy to change the tip. If you have a preference for either tip, I would suggest changing them all to the right tip prior to pushing the chalk paint into the tip when you first use them.
The colors in this set are fantastic! It comes with white, pink, green, blue, yellow, purple, red, and orange. Each color is vibrant and unique, making for a great contrast on a black chalkboard. For comparisons sake, I also included a pic of the markers on white sketchpad paper.
The Chalktastic markers are fantastic for people of all ages! Crafters of any age would love these, as would any kid who loves using chalk! (so about 99.9% of them!) The markers themselves are bigger so they'd be easy for smaller hands to hold.
I did find that erasing the markers was hit or miss. Sometimes they came off with an easy swipe, but most of the time required water to fully erase them. They also take a few minutes to dry without smudging. Still, they make for fantastic, bright drawings on chalkboards! I can't wait to utilize these in my crafts!
