The Le Beauté Detangling Hair Brush is a fantastic detangling brush! This is my first experience with a detangling brush, so I can't say if it's better or worse than other detangling brushes, but I need to tell you it works amazingly! I have very thick and long hair, so taming it is always a complete nightmare! It's really prone to tangling, and it's always a hassle trying to get out the knots that form after sleeping or a shower. This brush is a lifesaver! The brush itself has a smaller handle and a large area of it covered in fairly stiff bristles. At first they did hurt a bit, but after you get used to it, it really does feel like a massaging effect and I've come to really like it! When I use it, I notice that I do have to put in a lot less effort in getting rid of the tangles than I normally do. While before I may have spent a few minutes trying to brush my hair, this brush has considerably lessened that time, usually taking me 1-3 tries. Another great thing about this brush is that it can be used wet or dry *and still work fantastically*. It also fits well into my hand, not making me grip it tightly as I would other brushes. The one downfall I can see in this brush would be if you're using it on younger children or you have a sensitive scalp. The tough bristles really do take some getting used to, and especially for younger children, I can see this "hurting" easily. You would definitely need to be careful in how hard you press for them. Otherwise, this brush really is a fantastic value that I can't say too many good things about!
